XKR headlining

Last week the leather headlining on my XKR coupe decided to part company with the roof! The car went to the main dealership in York (HA Fox) who quoted £1,300 to replace. As they couldn't find a replacement black leather headlining they scouted around and found an excellent guy in Mallon, North Yorkshire who has successfully re-fitted the original and it looks as good as new. The cost? £200 + vat. I would highly recommend him - MJ Dawson t/a Dawson Upholstery Tel (01653) 691234. I don't think he is on the internet - in my original search I could only come up with firms in the midlands and in Kent. Gordon
