Fluid in Passenger occupancy sensor

On returning from a 4 week holiday during which my XK8 Convertible has been left unused I have found a greenish oily liquid dripping from the Passenger occupancy sensor. Can anyone advise what this may be?
I have tested the hood and this raises and lowers OK.

From your description, the only liquid which can emanate directly from that area is hood fluid. If you have only found liquid on the centre console, the source could also be the interior mirror (the auto darkening fluid). Neither will do the interior trim much good so it's advisable to sort matters asap. Mike.
