center cosole armrest

Hello
Please can anyone offer some advice , i have purchased a new center console armrest complete for my 07 xk convertable , it seems i would need to remove the interior of the box it sits on but cant find the fixing !

The armrest is held by two fixings which are hidden below the trim cover of the keyless start module located inside the centre console at the rear. However, that cover is held in place by two fixings (one either side of the centre console). These locate on the sides of the centre console but I'm unsure whether they can be reached easily without more extensive removal of more centre console trim. Mike.

Thanks for the info i saw two rubber bungs in the cubby box one each side removed them but could not feel any fixing in there ,but not easy to know but like you say im sure something is there .
The jag workshop book does not make it clear to say the least
