quarter panel interior trim -oatmeal

Postby kiwipom » Thu Sep 30, 2010 6:54 am

I've just replaced the rear glass on my 1997 coupe after an attempted break-in but they ? have ripped the oatmeal trim where it meets the rear quarter glass. Can I buy the leather only ? or does anyone know where I can obtain the panel as a used part ?
Appreciate any help .

thanks...Bruce

Try Eurojag quoting your trim code. Details in the club magazine.

Mike's come up with a good dependable supplier of used Jaguar spares ,

you ask whether the leather is available separately , probably not  as the rear card isn't leather .
Even on the "Full Leather" interior mostly is vinyl :!: , about all that is leather consists of front seat facings only (sides are vinyl) , top of the cubby box cover ,door card armrest top cover , most of the rear seat facings and that's about your lot :|
Don't know if it was a price issue or perhaps the vinyl makes the interior more robust :?:
Incidentally , the door cards were made by LEAR of luxury jet fame and I'm led to believe that the early seats without separate headrests were actually made by Recaro :!: ,

Hope this helps ,
