Thouhts on Scanners and reset tools

Taken a bit of a plunge on this. I decided to update/upgrade my scanning and diagnostic ability and splashed out on one of these
"XTOOL IP508S OBD2 Scanner". An Amazon promotion voucher for £60 (no obvious catch but sure one there somewhere) did make it quite tempting. Have to wait and see when it arrives. Hopefully will be able to deal with some of those pesky issues that don't register or present a DTC on just an ODB2 scanner and require a bit more to resolve (Usually the bloke down the road who charges £40.00 a go).

£60 seems good value - if it works - I would also be very interested to see how you get on

Apologies if there was any confusion. The £60 was a promotional voucher from Amazon. The unit was about £200.00ish. It does seem okay but initial observations are that the text is too small. Maybe there is a way to enlarge. Or maybe only affects the more elderly among us
