Hi, My 2006 X150 4.2 has a leaking piston that raises the rear deck. The cost of a new one is rather high, so I wonder if anyone knows of a used example for sale, or if they know of a company that would be able to renew the seals. Thanks. Rob

Try one of the specialist Jaguar breakers, like Eurojag of Darlington, which advertise in the back of Jaguar Enthusiast magazine for good second hand items. Mike.

Thanks Mike, I will give them a try.
I have also tried to change the serpentine belt myself, but unlike the XK8, there does not seem to be enough room to get down to the front of the engine on mine. No supercharger, but no room either. Am I going mad, or are the X150 and the XK8 different in layout, Rob.

You will need to remove the engine cover, the air deflector under the engine and the air intake duct to change the belt. Use a 3/8" drive bar (turn anticlockwise) to release the belt tension. Mike.

Thanks Mike. I will give that a try once it stops raining. Very grateful. Rob
