xk headlights

I have always found the headlights on my 2006 coupe disappointing with poor definition and focus. Polishing the lens made a slight improvement,so I changed the Std. Xenons to Osram Night breaker. These are dearer then Std but with a higher light output which has made an improvement.Checking on the Net for LED conversions I found a few adverse reviews about poor focus although a brighter light so I decided to stay with Xenon. I did find that the lights needed realignment possibly because of removing the headlight units to change the bulbs.

Changing headlamp bulbs or burners for LEDs is not advisable (or legal) unless you use a purpose designed headlamp. The reason is that the geometry of an LED source of light is different from that of a bulb. It's also why there are reports of poorly defined beams when people have tried this so-called upgrade.
