Apple car play

Hi folks, found this on you tube, see link below. Cost 77USD (about £60). I was sceptical but thought worth a try, and I have to say it works really well. I have adapted the mounting bracket so it slides into a gap above the central console, and used the FM transmitter to play via the car stereo. Gives you full apple car play, and phone connectivity.

That looks like a really good way to stop agonising over the inability to update some of the older Jaguar systems' sat nav mapping. Mike.

There are a lot of clones of this device available on Amazon. (search Apple Car play) Some with larger screens from £45 upwards. There is a minority but persistent set of reviews that says the connectivity keeps dropping out. Possibly this could be to do with their phone rather than the device so difficult to judge.

I am going to get a 2024 spec one ( so it says) to see what happens.
