I am thinking of changing my exhaust on my XKR 150.
I was wondering is there much difference between the sound of the exhaust on a XKRS and the one on a XKR..?

Re: XKRS Exhaust
In essence, the XKR-S set-up has one fewer exhaust box than the standard XKR arrangement. The increased noise is noticeable but really only when you have the throttle fairly wide open and a big grin on your face. The Jaguar OE exhausts are not inexpensive, especially the XKR-S version so you might want to check prices before going ahead. Mike.

Re: XKRS Exhaust
Thanks for your reply Mike.
I don't want the exhaust noisy all the time, just would like a bit more on throttle.
I gather the exhaust on the Dynamics is the same as the RS..?

Re: XKRS Exhaust
I have to come off the fence and say that, personally, I love the noise my Dynamic makes. I think it is a good compromise with relatively quiet cruising complimented by a raucous bellow under wide throttle conditions. My advice would be to try a fellow member's car to see if it would suit you before going ahead. Mike.

Change centre section wit the X pips see Swallow jag or Spires pull fuse 19 behind rear arm rest valves open all the time, if you still want more noise then change the back box there are others apart from Jaguar ome.
