Oil cooler radiator

Postby jaglover » Tue Aug 15, 2017 10:00 pm

I have a 2003 xk8 which has oil leaking from the oil cooler radiator at the front of the main radiator.it is not obvious whether it is a damaged radiator or leaking pipe joints. Can anyone help me with a supplier of suitable replacement parts?

These parts are specific to the XK8 so any of the usual Jaguar parts' suppliers like SNG Barratt and including Jaguar itself should be able to help. The joints are sealed with 'O' rings and there are flexible sections of pipe to check as well as looking for damage to the cooler. Undoubtedly, if at fault, the cooler will be expensive so a call to a good breaker, like Eurojag at Darlington, might provide a more economical repair. Mike.

I have seen an offer on British Parts site for an engine oil cooler rad for a very cheap price but it says it is for a 2005 onwards model XK8. Will this fit my 2003 XK8 as it seems to be massively cheaper than the correct one?
