Suspension Fault

Hi All, I have just seen the following fault appear on my dashboard - "Suspension Fault". This has occurred a couple of times now and I have also had "DSC" indicated every time I start the car since I purchased it 6 years ago. The "DSC" indication has had no relevance to the running of the car, but obviously the "Suspension Fault" light is of concern. Having CATS on my XK8 I took a look at the sensors on top of the suspension parts and blew air into them and also on the top of the mount. Switching on the engine, it cleared the fault. However, In the past two weeks the fault has occurred only twice and both times I removed the sensor and blew into them. Anyone got any ideas what the issue could be? How do I tell if one of the sensors are faulty, which one it I likely to be?

Apols if you've already done this but would expect a diagnostic would tell you which sensor's playing up?
I've got iSoft's i930 but little bit away from you in south Blackheath...

Why not change out both? Like many other sensors on this and the XJ8 despite being Denso (made in Japan so must be good ) they do age...

Hi Doug,

To avoid chasing ghosts, a good diagnostics session would pinpoint the fault. There are three CATS accelerometers on the car as well as electronics in the struts so you don't want to replace any more (expensive) components or wiring than is necessary. Mike.
