99 XKR Wheel nut threads

Hi all,

I have a set of wheels fitted with Winter tyres to replace my existing Detroits. The length of the existing wheel nuts are aesthetically too long and I wish to replace with shorter nuts. Does anyone know of the correct thread / pitch fo rthe XKR studs? i have been offered 12mm x 1.5mm but these are too slack and my feeling incorrect?

Final update on this issue after many negative responses from wheel suppliers is that 1/2" UNF wheel nuts are the correct type. At least they fit and all seems well after what seems an eternity!
