Slight steering pull to left

Just aquired a XKR convertible 2002 22500miles , what a car! It has 20 inch wheels ,when driving i do feel a slight pull to left , it is slight and to be honest when u look at most roads the camber on the roads do favour the inside .
The 20 inch wheels obviously pick up more detail on the road . Question is what test tell me the car is riding true straight ?
should i take it to be tracked ? will this tell me ?

regards
Andy

Hi Andy ,
A good test of "pulling to one side" is to find a quiet , straight bit of road and drive down the centre of the road (making sure that nobody's coming the other way  ) if the car then drives straight its probably the camber causing your problem .

If your car still pulls to the left try .............

1. Tyre pressures are correct and even

2. The tyres are both the same make and type and have been fitted the correct way on the rim

3. Have the bushes and joints checked for wear

4. If all the above are correct have the geometry checked and adjusted on all four wheels

Hope this helps ,
