Front wheel wobble

I have an XKR which has very minor wheel wobble on checking the front suspension there is a small amount of play in the off side wheel bearing. Can these be adjusted or does it mean a new bearing.

New bearing, very probably. Had a similar problem on my 8. Had both front bearings replaced and all was fine.

Yep get both done at the same time. If by chance your brake pads/discs or dust shield need replacing get them done at the same time.

I upgraded all of my wheel bearings (they misquoted the price of the rears at the same as the fronts) and I took along my own EBC discs and pads and brake shrouds which they fitted for free (since they had to take them all off anyway.

Something that's hard to DIY since most people don't have the ABS removal tool.

There shouldn't be any discernible play in XK8 front wheel bearings, As Mark says, it's not a diy task unless you have the right kit and (from observation) a long scaffold pole for leverage. Things are very tight. Mike.

Thanks for the replies it did pass the mot the wheel has a very small amount of play on the off side wheel so will get the bearings changed in the near future you cannot feel anything when driving only when its jacked up.
