fitted new tpms sensors to X150.
jagman says they MUST be Jag parts to talk to the car altho they are the same Mhz as the originals. Can this be correct.
I dont want to change them twice if it doesn't work. £

Fitting Jaguar-supplied parts is the only guaranteed way of ensuring the TPMS system will work but if you happen to have bought identical but unbranded components, the only sure way of telling would be to try them. New sensors fitted to running wheels should programme themselves to the system during the first 15 minutes of running. However, the TPMS sensor fitted to a spare wheel requires a code (contained on the Jaguar packaging) to be input using Jaguar's WDS diagnostic system before it will work. Mike.
