Brake Master Cylinder

I have a minor annoyance that the brakes seem to be slow to respond when manoeuvring the car slowly. It's not an air in the system problem as pipes have been renewed and fully bled. I am wondering if there is a bad seal within the master cylinder causing this. Has anyone had similar issue or experience of master cylinder bad seals? Thanks

Without experiencing the problem, it will always be difficult to offer definitive advice but since it involves braking you should have the matter checked out by a competent mechanic at the earliest. If it is a master cylinder issue (and it could be), the next stage could be some form of brake failure. Alternatively, if the car has flexible, rather than braided brake lines, the problem could be perished flexies which should be replaced, preferably by braided items. Even new but cheap flexible brake pipes could produce a similar effect. Mike.
