Rear brake pads

As you will see from previous post I’m going to change rear pads on my 1997 xk8. Looking at the internet the pads vary considerably in price. Who do most owners use. Thanks

You have a high performance motor car which needs brakes to match. Any of the major names will sell you suitable pads. Some will offer pads producing less brake dust or a sharper initial bite, a matter of personal choice. Given quality pads, the best brake upgrade any XK8 owner can do is to replace the standard rubber hydraulic hoses with braided versions (as Jaguar did on higher performance versions). The resultant pedal feel is much more inspiring. Mike.
