18 inch wheels for 2004 XKR

Postby DavidEdwards » Mon Sep 17, 2018 8:34 am

Hi, My 2004 XKR currently sports a set of scruffy 20 inch BBS Paris wheels that I’m looking to replace. Does anyone know of a definitive source that lists which 18 inch wheels will fit this car given brake calliper, bolt pattern etc. constraints. (I had been planning on using 18 inch Hydras, but have just been reliably informed that they will not fit the bolt pattern on my car.)

Many thanks for your time,
Dave Edwards.

Hi David,
The bolt pattern for your car is 5x120.65 front and back,I know the XKR wheel Double Fives(my favourite wheel :D) are front 18x8J offset 33mm and rear 18x9J offset 35mm

I take it you have Brembo brakes which is why the Hydras will not fit your car and not the bolt pattern as the pattern is the same for XK8 and XKR.
Sorry I can't be more helpful but good luck searching for some nice wheels anyway.
Take Care.
Andy :)

Hi Andy,

Thanks for your reply. Since starting this thread, I’ve been informed that the seven (double) spoked Hydra 18 inch wheel (C2N3314) will in fact fit my car, and there is no problem with the bolt pattern or fitting around the Brembo brake callipers. As you said, 8J’s are needed at the front and 9J’s at the rear.

Does anyone have these fitted on a similarly aged XKR and if so, how have they found their wheel/tyre combo in terms of ride compliance and road noise?

Thanks again for any feedback,
Dave.
