The Jaguar handbook specifically states you DO NOT mix different brands or sizes on the same axle.

Don't be afraid to try ebay for part worn tyres. I got a pair of Dunlop Sport Maxx 285/30/20s last year with 7mm tread in near perfect state for just over £200 the pair!

I'd echo the warning about not mixing tyre brands on the car. Tyre construction varies by manufacturer and as a result, different tyres may have different slip angles which affects how the car performs and feels on the road. Over many years, I have had numerous examples of strangely handling Jaguars cured seemingly miraculously by the simple expedient of adopting matched tyre sets. Unfortunately, without physically trying specific combinations of different tyres, it's not possible to predict which combinations will match without a problem and which won't. Mike.

:( Sadly, not everyone who works in a garage, even a Jaguar main dealer garage, is an expert! Mike.
