trim and rubber on doors

is it expensive or a big job to have the trim and the rubber replaced on both doors of my xkr..top of doors.....thanks in advance for any info

These days, like the rest of the car, the door rubber seals are designed for ease of factory assembly and are not that difficult to replace, possibly with the exception of removing the treadplate without damaging it! However, the seals are expensive. If you are uncertain whether to change the seals, check your dealer's prices first to avoid nasty shocks. Mike.

Very easy to remove and replace , horrendous money from Jaguar ( I'm guessing £150 for the roof gutter section with only one side available and the original Dorchester Grey trims no longer available only the satin black later version

However , if it's only the painted surface that's bubbling PM me and I may be able to assist you ,I'm also working on a fix for the rubber portion
I've just purchased a second-hand but fair condition passenger side roof rail trim from a specialist Jaguar breaker at a trade price and it cost me £65 and it needs a small repair , they are getting like hens teeth

PM me a picture of the damaged portion and I'll try to help if I can ,
