Paint Codes

Postby 12ltrooper » Sun Mar 07, 2010 9:42 am

A daft question - I have a 2000 XKR and would like to know exactly what colour "blue" it is - Is there anywhere I can check the details of the colour code?

Phil,

I assume from this that you haven't had the opportunity yet to enter your car details in the Register? It is really important that all members register their cars so that the club clearly understands the makeup of car ownership and holds appropriate records.

If you go to the Register link, which you can find at the top section of the main Bulletin Board page, then you can then follow the links to enter your car in the register. Within the entry page, you will see the section on paint code. If you click the highlighted words "Paint Code", it will open a window which describes the location of the plate on your car that details this information.

I hope that helps.

Many thanks - W563 PGJ is now registered, but I would still like to know what colour JHM is (shade of blue)?

Phil

Thanks for entering your XK on the Register

I'll send you a PM for some of the content

The 3 character Trim Code duplicates others who have entered Ivory as the Interior Colour. I'm still trying to work out what the 2 Character Trim Code represents. Your code is unique to the register (along with numerous others - so nothing new)

I have a complete (to 2006) set of Jaguar Paint Codes from JDHT via John Bleasdale & this confirms the Pacific Blue advised by Alan
