Dashboard rattle

This one is a bit of a joke against me but it shows you can't discount any possibility when you are looking for those annoying bodywork buzzes. Earlier this year my soft top developed an annoying buzz/rattle that resonated at certain speeds. It seemed to be coming from the centre of the dashboard and pushing and pulling different bits seemed to give very erratic results with no clear clue as to where it was coming from. Sometimes pushing at one spot cleared the noise and other times it didn't.
Anyway after lots of playing I eventually tracked it down - to me!.
The family bought me a new watch at Christmas with a metal link strap. It fits nicely but when I am driving it slips a little lower down my wrist and is slightly loose. Just enough for a little shake transmitted from the wheel to shake my wrist and then the watch so that the links rattled. The simple solution was to slide it up my arm so it was tighter and the strap couldn't rattle!! Sorry Jaguar
