Rear bumper cover variations

I've cracked my rear bumper cover on my 1998 XK8 coupe. Original part number is HJA6586BBXXX. Searching for a decent donor replacement I've found someone selling a 'new' (still boxed, unpainted) HJE6586ACXXX which is the bumper cover for '01-'03 model years.

Does anyone know if there are any significant differences between the parts and whether I'd be able to use the later part on my earlier car?

Using just the part numbers, it's not possible to identify the precise differences between the various bumper cover numbers. However, all the body fixings for all bumper variations are identical. The one difference I can spot is a different part number for the bumper beam itself. A worst case interpretation could be a difference in the shape of the beam which could require a matching cover but that's not particularly likely. Mike.
