A pillar trim removal

Postby andypryce » Sun Apr 16, 2023 2:04 pm

Hi folks,

So I want to remove and try and repair the A pillar exterior trim, see picture, as it is starting to leak. Is there a particular way to remove this piece, is it just a push fit does anyone know? Thanks.

I think you'll find the seal is trapped under the mirror body and so the mirror will have to be removed first to get to the seal itself. Mike.

Hi Andy,

I've got the same problem with my car and found this eBay item which I will buy some time soon, once I've completed a few other jobs.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175677972535

I thought if you'd not seen it, it may be helpful.

Best wishes,

Simon.
