front end mods

Postby painter » Thu Sep 29, 2016 4:43 am

been thinking of modifying the front end, although not easy to improve on the original. Still trying to find a location/shape for the chrome corner bumps. Has anybody ever been 'pulled over' for having the number plate on the bonnet? The image is of course just cut and paste at this stage until it looks right.

?? keep getting a message "sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached" - at 4 in the morning?? won't accept attachments

I`ve asked James to get this sorted. It happens from time to time.

Coincidently, earlier this week, Nigel T and I have been to see a heavily modified X100. The owner has made a great job of the modifications. At some stage, expect to see an article in the magazine, probably some time next year. In the meanwhile, try imagining an XKR that looks like it belongs to the 1930's! If nothing else, that car proves there's lots of scope for changing the looks of an X100. :D Mike.
