Wheel Arch Liners

Having noticed a lot of correspondence on wheel arch rust, how easy is it to remove the wheel arch liners in order to waxoyl the inner arches. I've a 2005 XKR.
Any technical advice would be appreciated.

Hi Pip ,
If you remove the front wheels the liners remove very easily by unscrewing some plastic 10mm nuts and carefully removing the scrivets (a cross between a screw and a rivet) they can be reused but better to replace as they are as cheap as chips.
The inner wing area can then be cleaned down and waxoyled (or whatever your favourite treatment is)

The rears don't have liners as such so remove the rear wheels , clean down paying particular attention to the inner arch lip and the forward ledge formed by the arch and the back of the sill , then treat as before ,
