Harewood meeting -if only!

Well Harewood has come and GONE yet again! A day that most of us northerners can't wait for! With sore fingers from all that polishing and an XKR (still pinch my self) fully loaded -including two kids, we set off with dreams of lifting the TROPHY in the "pride and joy". We arrive - alittle dissapionted not to be in the usual "SPOT", in front of the house and playing area for the kids-but i,m sure there is a reason for this? Not even the rain nor hail could spoil the day-simply wipe it away and smile!Oh- I do wish those sheep would do as they are told! May-be the circling bird (poss. red kite) had a sinnister thought!!The judging came and went,but with one or three too many stone chips it's not gonna be my day! But -hey, the interest in my newly painted dash (land rover old english white) saved my day!Thanks for all the nice comments and yes Mike (nice to meet you) I will post some pics. soon.Well folks we heading down under in October taking the XKR with us (cos i'll never aford one down there!) to Brisbane-BUT- still staying in the club+forum.Mega congrats. to the owner of our group "F" - your car was mint and a worthy winner.
