how much should it cost to repressurise the aircon and who does it?

Hi Nik, Re-pressurising costs vary widely but say £70 upwards. There are lots of automotive air con companies. If no-one local to Hull responds with a suggested name and assuming you don't want to route the task via the Hull Jaguar Centre, use Yellow Pages or similar to track down your nearest company. Mike.

Got the jaguar independant Simon March and Co near me at York to regas mine a few weeks ago , it cost would you believe £35 , it now works a treat , bring on the global warming , me and N1XKO are both cool cats !!!!

Thanks Nik. That's a useful tip. I'm planning some aircon work on one of my cars. So, the recommendation could come in handy. Mike.

I think there are a couple of companies (invariably not the cheapest) that pledge that if your air-con doesn't blow X degree's cooler you won't have to pay for the recharge. Makes sense then for them to advise you if it's working correctly as opposed to waste their money.
