Rear diff noise

Would these procedures work on a 2004 Stype, is the diff similar.

I know that most of the diff ratios are different from those of the then current XK range. On top of which, the Jaguar recommended lubricants are different so the chances are that the diffs are not from the same supplier. It's possible the S Type used a Visteon manufactured diff because of its closer model connections with Lincoln etc. Mike.

Thank's for the reply Mike, I rang Bristol Transmissions today only to be told that they no longer recondition Stype diffs as Jaguar have stopped producing the parts for them.
