Recently purchased in USA 2002 XK8 Convertible, while car has setting for these, Canadian Govmt. insists should be in fixed mode. Went to Jag. dealer for this modification, done by diagnostic soft ware program.
All systems worked perfectly when I purchased, with one exception, main side windows did NOT close up when closing doors. Guess what, in modifying running lights, windows now close up as they should.
Question: Does this diagnostic program review and correct all systems,
electric or otherwise. My XK8 is now PERFECT. Maurice

Don't know whether the two are linked as such but shouldn't a good dealer be expected to correct simple programming faults which are listed when the car is plugged into the Jaguar diagnostic system? Mike.
