Just updated my software on my iCarsoft Diagnosis devise to Version 3.0. Undertook diagnostic on my 2005 XK8 and under ECM (Engine Control Module) it showed code P1582 - Flight Recorder data is stored/Electronic throttle monitor data available. Didn't know I was flying a plane!!! although the car is quick. Anyone know what this means?
I also had the following codes appear on ADRC (Adaptive damping ride control) C1516, C1422, C1432 & C1427. Anyone got any idea on these codes????

The fact that you have a whole bunch of suspension DTCs but you haven't mentioned any actual car fault symptoms suggests that a good place to start might be with simple wiring issues. Dirty/corroded connectors can flag up erroneous fault codes. Careful separation and cleaning should eliminate obvious problems. P1582 can be flagged for many simple reasons, such as a failure to start because you released the key too soon. It needs resetting on a SDD machine to get rid of it. Mike.
