You haven't specified whether it's the front or rear crankshaft oil seal which is leaking. Replacement of the front seal is the easier task of the two and has a Jaguar standard repair time of about 4 hours whereas the rear seal would take more than 5 hours. Bear in mind that these times are formulated with warranty work on young cars in mind. Work on older vehicles inevitably takes longer, especially for tasks like these not performed regularly. Mike.
