i have a 2004 xkr convertable.
the passenger window is fully up(so door wont fully shut) and wont move either way, the drivers side still works.
checked the fuses, and all appear ok. no clicking solonoid.
dropped the roof, and then found that wouldn't go up either !, and neither the rear windows.
any ideas before i pull the rest of my hair out ?!

Hi,
Among other things, the items you've listed all connect with the security and locking control module which is located in the boot and can be vulnerable to water ingress. Hence, the simplest approach would be to check the plugs on the module for good contact. If that approach doesn't prove successful, the car really needs a diagnostic check at either a Jaguar main dealer or at a specialist with access to the same equipment or the appropriate Autologic Jaguar modules. Mike.

Re: window and roof.....
thanks for that, where abouts in the boot is the module?
i've had relays out for the rear windows, which i manged to put up, and also the other relays in the boot.
also, with the doors shut, the car wont lock with the fob, they just try and then unlock, so it may be the locking module?

The security and locking module is located in the boot to the rear of the battery along with the fuse box etc. The module at the very rear of the boot on the car centreline is the adaptive damping module (if fitted). The other module in the area is the reverse park aid unit wrapped in sticky foam at the rear of the fuse box. Mike.
