Hi Nik,
I have checked through a lot of wiring diagrams etc and can't come up with a definitive answer! Of the various feeds to the mirrors that are labelled, most are 12 volts for the motor operations but the mirror position reference signals are 1 volt and 8 volts for different planes of movement. Thus, it seems Jaguar had the option of using 1, 8 or 12 volts to feed the tint mechanism even without creating a unique voltage for it. Since, according to the wiring diagram, the tint wiring for the interior and exterior mirrors are linked together, why don't you see what voltage you have at the interior mirror? That should confirm the test voltage you will need for the door mirrors. Mike.
