windows up or not....

I have a problem, whereby, if you raise the drivers door window with the one touch automatic button, the window raises, but then goes back down again to about half way.
if i keep my finger on the button, the window does shut ok.
the window drops/raises as it should when the dooor is opened (convertible xkr)
I have tried the reset, but still does it.
its not such a problem, but when its raining, and you want the window up in one touch, its annoying when your still getting wet !

The onetouch operation is designed to drop 200mm if an obstruction is detected so the most likely cause is stickiness in the window guides. Hence, it may be worth trying a suitable lubricant in the guides, like one of the silicone lubricants sold by Halfords etc just for this type of purpose. Mike.

Thanks for that Mike, the window seems to have cured itself, but will give it a squirt of lubricants anyway !
