Number Plate Lights on X150

Has anyone with an X150 experienced problems with there number plate lights not working? The lights came back on after a battery hard reset, but went back out after the engine was re started. Tried wobbling the loom at the hinge with the boot lid open, to check for breaks, but with no joy, so that doesn't appear to be the culprit! Has anyone experienced this, or have any ideas?

Naturally, the number plate lamps only operate in conjunction with the rear lights so, if the latter work, the wiring has to be the prime suspect, assuming it isn't due to bulb/LED failure (dependent upon model year). Check for continuity in the number plate wiring progressively from the number plate lamps along the wiring until you lose the test current. Then, you will be able to pinpoint the breakage. Mike.
