Hi.
On my 2004 XK8 (XKR) I am not able to find out how to change the time. I am at this time showing BST, need to show GMT (British Winter Time).
My clock shows up on the same screen that I can select the navigating map on

Hi - on my slightly earlier car there is a setting for daylight saving that you can turn off. I can't recall exactly which menu its in - sorry!!

It is under Setup, but if I remember right it is the last setting in the list and not immediately obvious when you go into Setup. You have to scroll down to see the end of the list.

Thank you all for your advise. But no further ahead! At 13:00 hours (but the clock showing 14:00 hours) I decided to disconnect the battery. At 16:00 hours I reconnected the battery. After a very short while, the clock jumped to 17:00 hours? So still not showing British winter time? This jump in time looks like it was done through the ether!

Any further hints as to how to change this clocks time would be much appreciated.

Regard ...> Alan

Further to my last message. Pressing the MENU button did not do anything!
Pressing the MAP button did not do anything!

The clock time does come from the 'ether' (the sat nav signal). However, whether it's correct or not depends upon what's been entered in the settings (time zone & summer time on/off). I can't remember whether a disc needs to be inserted first but pressing the menu button with the ignition on should bring up an option for settings where you can check what's there. Mike.

Resolved. Inside my centre consul between the seats a Jaguar telephone had been installed by a PO. This I unplugged (it was no longer working) and stored the handset with pigtail cord to one side. With a "light bulb" moment, I re-connected the handset cord, and hay presto, my features around the clock worked (map and menu etc).
Good to have it all working again
Thank you all for your input.

Hi Alan,
Glad you got it sorted.
Nothing is better than when everything is as it should be.
Enjoy your car.
Take care.
