Jaguar Headlight - C2N2434

I was looking to purchase a replacement headlight for my 2005 XK8 as the existing one has condensation damage on the inside chrome area of the light. Obviously all bulbs and connections are intact, so am only looking for the casing. I can't believe how expensive they appear to be. I am looking at between £800 to £1,000 or on e-bay currently almost £500! Does anyone know where this item can be obtained cheaper?

Strangely; all Jaguar headlights are hideously expensive, but nothing compared to the ones on a Tesla - over £2,000!!!!

Best bet, if you can actually find one, is one of the reputable Breakers who advertise in the magazine, or from one of the Club Independent suppliers - at least then there is the potential to check condition / function before you part with the cash.

Have you talked to some of the used part suppliers or breakers? I haven't used any of the following so cannot recommend them, but worth a call.

Thanks Jim & Lucky, Been in touch with XK8 Spares and they are expecting some in within the next couple of weeks. Remains to be seen how much they want for them but its a start. Alternatively, International Spares Day is in October, so may wait to see what turns up there!

Are you talking about the passenger side or drivers side?

Does it have headlamp washers?

Even if I cannot help you I think I can point you in the right direction for doing it a bit cheaper.
