It is one of the usual suspects and due to the breakdown of the internal battery in the sounder causing the drain. Hope it’s sorted for you. :mrgreen:

If it stays sorted after disconnecting the sounder, I plan to disassemble it and see if I can fit new batteries to it. Then I can refit it.

That guide you pointed me to is brilliant - I now know what all the relays are.

Just a short update. 2 weeks on and all is well. Looks like the sounder was the culprit. Having recently read June's edition of Jaguar World I note that an owner of an X150 suffered a similar problem and that turned out to be the sounder as well. It is certainly worth starting there if you have similar issues - easy to disconnect and eliminate from your investigations (and doesn't affect normal alarm operation).
