Just come back from a 90 mile round trip in the dark...something I hadn't noticed before is the lack of a light in the heating temperature lcd display.
Is there supposed to be a backlight in there when the external lights are on ? Or even just a permanent backlight ?

Re: Temperature LCD display light
Hi PTR,
Yes the display is backlit, bit of a faff to change the duff bulbs though. On the 308 it's remove centre console, prize out centre dash plate (that will be different on X100) then remove display unit and turn it over to reveal the bulb holders, brown plastic holders from memory of my last 308. There are a few different coloured holders and therefore bulb wattages around the dash. I got a handful of secondhand ones from Eurojag as no one seemed sure of exact part numbers.
If you decide to go ahead you might investigate those gear change micro witches while your in upto your elbows.
