Alarm, set off by hailstone!

Postby PTR200Jag » Mon Dec 15, 2014 5:55 pm

Arrrgh .... just had to go out and reset the alarm after a hail storm set it off..

Is this something of a known problem? sensitivity I mean not the hailstone !!

Being new to this Jag, seven days in now! I am only just getting to grips with the toys

If I use the one button push on the remote fob it locks the car... if I push again I get the deadlocks engaging.... does the alarm set under both of these conditions?

Any help or direction appreciated !

Hi

Yes, the alarm is set in both conditions

The good news is that the alarm sensitivity can be adjusted by either a Main Dealer or a Jaguar Specialist using either the Jaguar or Autologic Diagnostic systems
