Light on Radio & Heater Displays

Hi Guys
Have developed a fault on my XK8 - the radio light does not come on and only half ( left side ) of the heater light comes on - hope this all makes sense!!
Has anyone else experienced this problem or do you have any ideas?- could it be as simple as a bulb replacement or perhaps a fuse

Hi, I suspect you are right about the problem being bulbs or a fuse. the fuses are more accessible so I'd start there with your fingers crossed. The handbook lists the location of the fuse boxes. Like many modern cars, bulbs are buried a little deeper into the car's interior. Let forum members know if you need directions to remove interior trim etc. Grandtourer has already lodged some good advice on this site about removing the centre console which is likely to be a prerequisite to digging around in this area. Just done this job on mine two days ago , quite straight forward ,and yes the centre console does have to come out (itself only held in by 4 torx bolts ,
