WIPER -MIND OF ITS OWN

XK8-1998....My wipers were all over the place, stopped in middle of screen....would wipe once..then five times..etc,etc,...Read here might be micro switch in motor faulty, So bought a second hand replacement motor. As it was a bank holiday, got bored waiting for replacement,
so decided to take off old wiper motor.....Removed plate from side of motor, (which houses micro switch) five screws, Cleaned contacts and sprayed with electric contact spray....
Now wipers are working perfectly.....Hope this helps other members with the same problem.

P.P.S.....Once motor of car, repair took 10 minutes,....Don't forget to mark position of wiper arms. Tom.
