XK8 ... the 'New Classic' per Jaguar Heritage

I went to the NEC Classic Motor Show yesterday and visited, among many others, the Jaguar Heritage stand. Shown there were the models handled by the new Jaguar Heritage organisation. The prototype of the 'new' Lightweight E-Type, of which only six will be built, took top place on the stand.

Also shown, for the first time under the Jaguar Heritage banner, is XK8 as it is entering its new status. Quoting directly from a Jaguar Heritage publication:

It's the birth of a new classic. As of 2015 the Jaguar XK8 will be 10 years out of production
and will enter the hall of fame that is Jaguar Heritage.
XK8 owners will benefit from the support of the Jaguar Heritage Parts team. Employing skills

I spoke at length with the the guy responsible for all the work carried out at their workshop and it all sounds very positive.
