scraping noise ?????

just had my 2000 xkr in for the m.o.t ...been out today and everytime i turn right i am getting a scraping sound (like when brakes are worn down !)coming from passenger side front ?.......it was ok before the m.o.t test .any ideas please ....... oh and it passed ...with a note for slightly corroded brake pipes ......

Check to see the MOT guys haven`t bent the sheet metal dust shield behind a brake disc. It is possible that when levering the car suspension to check for wear, they might have distorted it and made it touch the moving brake disc. If bent, bend it back again!

The other favorite is a stone stuck between the disc and the dust shield.
