just been offered a 1997 XK8 coupe with genuine 22k on the clock. Assuming there are no Nikasil issues what would it be worth. I think i need to allow for tensioners and water pump change.

Hi Martin,
22000 miles! Wow, thats good. There should be no nikasil issues now, the sulpher they used to put in the petrol is no longer there, so theory being if the engine has survived it will be ok.
Values, depending on condition of course, but presuming with the low mileage that it is in very good condition. Around £6k - £7k for insurance, so something around that price to buy.
