HMSL Loose

The rear brake light on rear parcel shelf/window has worked loose and I can not see how it fixes in place. Can anyone advise.

Funnily enough, my rear light also is loose. I think it was initially held in place by some form of adhesive to the window itself. I'd be interested to hear what the repair method should be.

Anyone else got the answer?

I am a bit dubious of glueing. I have read in the past some members have had problems with the LED's failing. How would you rectify this if it is glued in place?

My XK8 (MY2002) has velcro 'hooks' stuck to the bottom of the unit. This then 'fixes' to the Parcel Shelf & can be easily removed for maintenance etc.

As I bought my XK 2nd hand I don't know if this is original or a fix for the problem you have.
