2006 jaguar xk flagged some sub frame corrosion, does anyone know of any treatment specialists in Midlands area for underneath

Assuming the warning was meant as advice to stop the situation getting any worse, there are businesses prepared to treat and stabilise any rust before adding a protective coating. The treatments are rarely cheap - typically around £1500. David Marks in Nottingham has been known to carry out this work for customers, as does JR Classics at Askern, Doncaster. Alternatively, why not have a go yourself? Lanoguard is very easy to apply. Or, Dinitrol and Waxoyl can be used with a little more preparatory effort. Of course, all of this may be of little use if corrosion already really requires replacement of the subframes. Mike.
