Bank 1 and bank 2

Hi can someone please tell me which is bank 1 when you are sitting in the drivers seat, I have had different answers on you tube...I need to replace oxygen sensor upstream bank one.
On a 2002 xk8

Hi Rob,

Jaguar definition in XK workshop manual, as the engines are very similar I can't think they'd change the definitions as that would cause a huge problem for the engineers, dealer technicians etc

References to Bank-1 and Bank-2
References to Bank-1 and Bank-2 are made with regard to the engine. When viewed from the flywheel the right-hand bank will be Bank-1 and the left-hand bank will be Bank-2.

All LH and RH references to the engine are taken from a position at the flywheel looking towards the crankshaft front pulley.
