I got into conversation with a fellow XK8 enthusiast who is rebuilding a crashed and written off convertible X100 which came through the Synetiq auction just before Christmas.
It's sporting a JEC sticker so I said I'd mention it here in case its previous owner can be traced. He's keen to track them down to find out more about the car, as well as hopefully obtaining any service history that they may have.
The car itself has had the same owner for the last 10 years and has clearly been looked after very well so it will be a nice example once it's been rebuilt.
Only one Fail and and that was a few years back plus the occasional advisory. And no rust
